ReplyDeleteThanks for spreading the word. It is really scary when you realize that it can happen to you. We always seem to shrug off these kind of articles and think that we are immune or that it will never affect the people we love most. Well we are all the same and therefore we have to take care and have appropriate check ups to prevent it from happening to us. Most important is to teach and encourage the ones around us to do the same. Life is so precious, let's live it to the full!
ReplyDeleteThank you for helping to bring more light to this. For years no one has been willing to speak about our cervix and our vaginal health, I am one of those, but two years ago I found I have HPV and have pre-cancer cells on my cervix. Its quite disturbing to learn about this and not even known its a possibility. I hope that with you posting about this it gets the word out to more young girls and women, and hopefully it will start dialogue between parent and child and more prevention will take place. I love my cervix and hope others out there learn to love theirs too.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for spreading the word of this. I have not received the shot to help prevent this but I will in the near future.
